TVL Youth Boxing Program
Building Strength, Confidence, and Community

The Village Lansing is proud to officially launch TVL Boxing, our youth boxing program! This is designed for all youth ages 9–17 to build skills in boxing, while also supporting confidence, discipline, and leadership development.
Youth boxing has been a proven tool for violence prevention — helping young people manage conflict, regulate emotions, and build a sense of purpose and control. It creates structure, builds trust with mentors, and offers a healthy outlet that keeps kids engaged and connected.
How you can help:
TVL Boxing is the next step in our mission to invest in youth and prevent violence before it starts. This program offers structure, mentorship, and purpose — through the discipline of boxing.
We’re currently working to complete the gym, bring in trainers and mentors, and ensure every student has access to what they need to succeed. This includes equipment, gear, and scholarship support for participation fees.
We’re raising $10,000 to support:
- Training equipment and gym setup
- Support for qualified trainers and staff
- Gear for students
- Scholarships for families who need help covering participation fees
- General startup costs to make the program safe, strong, and sustainable
At The Village Lansing, our mission has always been clear: to invest in our youth, reduce gun violence, and create a community where young people are safe, free, and alive. We believe in meeting them where they are — and providing real tools and support to help them grow.
